Luftbild Falshöfter Leuchtturm und Der Landarzt | Der Leuchtturm und der angrenzende Strandabschnitt Gammeldamm dienten mehrfach als Filmkulisse für die ZDF-Vorabendserien „Der Landarzt“ und „Da kommt Kalle“. In philatelistischer Würdigung wurde am 10. Juni 2010 eine Briefmarke im Wert von 55 Eurocent mit dem Motiv des Leuchtturms Falshöft herausgegeben. - Der Leuchtturm steht heute unter Denkmalschutz und ist ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel. Er diente 92 Jahre lang als Leit- und Orientierungsfeuer für die Schifffahrt in der Flensburger Förde. Die Lichtquelle wurde ursprünglich mit Petroleumglühlicht betrieben, später durch Flüssiggas ersetzt und ab 1963 elektrisch. Die Funktion wurde 1969 automatisiert und von der Schaltzentrale in Kappeln überwacht.
